I live in Connecticut with my husband and two boys Austin who is 7 and Gerard who is 2 years old. I have been in the corporate workforce all my life in telecommunications, holding various managerial positions. I quit my job in 1997 when Austin was diagnosed at 5 years of age. I remember how we felt when we first found out about Austin's disease. There were such mixed emotions and it was so hard at first to find support. Due to all the experiences that we have gone thru, I felt it was time for me to share, give a helping hand to those parents who need to seek more information and need that support from those who are dealing with JM first hand.
