2009 Fundraising Highlights
Thank you supporter and volunteers for making the Educational and Fundraising Event for Young Adults with JM an unqualified success. Held in conjunction with the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, the event featured a presentation by Dr. Lauren Pachman, a tour of the Cure JM Center of Excellence in JM Research and a Cure JM Foundation marathon rallying station. Portland Benefit Concert a Huge Success The family and friends of JM patient Mason teamed up with musicians Jessica Lerner, Savannah Outen and 8 other bands to hold a benefit concert for Cure JM in Portland, Oregon on August 8th. Even if you couldn't make it to the event, you can share in the experience with two music videos dedicated to Mason: Cure JM Team Raises over $163,000 at Carlsbad Marathon In January, the Cure JM Team traveled to Carlsbad, California as an official charity of the 2009 Carlsbad Marathon and Half-Marathon. During that same weekend, the Cure JM Foundation hosted an Educational Forum, featuring some of the nation's top experts in JM research. |
